.......Everybody always wants what they can't have, especially in the club! This song, although about that girl in the club didn't originate from that idea. If you listen carefully, it could have a couple of meanings, but I went for the safe one! :-P As a songwriter I often look for inspiration when I don't immediately arrive at a concept while listening to a track. On the night I wrote this particular song I had writer's block. The track was so bangin to me I couldn't just leave it alone, but writing is not something you can force. Just as I was setting my songbook on my nightstand, I see this crazy sticker I got from this equally crazy store in Little Five Points (ATL) called Junkman's Daughter. DYNAMITE!! is what the sticker read, big and bold as hell, and the hook was born, with a little bit of law regarding the possession of dynamite, Bob Marley and "that girl" mixed with a little bit of JJ from "GoodTimes" The rest always begins to just flow after that. This is one of my favorites as well..(of course it is!..lol) and I decided why not start 2010 off with a BANG!
